Oak Shores and Smittle Creek Day Use areas offer free day use, beach activities, swimming, fishing, and wildlife viewing. Smittle Creek has a 2.6-mile-long hiking trail that connects the two-day use areas together. There are also roped-off areas that are safe for the kids to swim in and you can fish from the shore. Oak Shores Day Use Area has a lot of picnic areas with awnings for shade, picnic tables, and charcoal barbeque pits, with great places to swim and fish. There is a non-motorized boating area between Oak Shores and Smittle Creek Day Use Areas, great for safe Paddle Boarding and Kayaking, which we have available to Rent!

Moss Creek Winery
Founded by the Moskowite family over 80 years ago, this 145-acre vineyard was planted in 1972. This beautiful stone winery building is nestled amongst our Cabernet Sauvignon vineyards. Wine caves have been tunneled into the hill behind the winery. A stone bridge crosses the creek and links the winery to a picnic area nestled in an Oak grove. Visitors are welcome by appointment.

Somerston Estate
Somerston is a 1,682-acre winery estate hidden high in the eastern Vaca Mountains of Napa Valley. Established in 2007, the property is managed with the singular vision of becoming one of Napa Valley’s greatest estates. Established in 1890, Nichelini Family Winery is the oldest family-owned winery in Napa Valley.
